Abstrak

Waterflood field operations demand quick and accurate decision-making on determining injection rate, pattern, and water quality and reservoir material balance. The growing assets complexity, the high risk of missing data, and the difficulty to capture and control new data on time calls for a data system that integrates well, layer and field data needed for more effective
and efficient water flood.
The Production Data Mart (PDM) is Pertamina Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) integrated data management solution designed for faster, more efficient water flood decision-making. The Integrated PDM were built in structured oracle based data solution which applied in DecisionSpace® Production software resulting various workflows of surveillance an monitoring water flood program. The solution also works seamlessly with the existing Pertamina EP production data and operational data repository, providing the basis level of data report.
Work steps in designing The Integrated PDM are:
1. Collecting and combining cross-domain data sources from geology, reservoir, production and operation
2. Integrating and aggregating those combined data into a structured data system (oracle based)
3. Creating data loader such as Sql Loader in order to feed and updating data automatically
4. Data Mapping
5. Extract meaningful information and workflow for water flood surveillance and analysis.
Some of workflows and analysis, which can be used as a surveillance and monitoring program of water flood field, are:
1. Production and injection bubble and grid map data
2. Well test history with bubble map dynamic (before after) display
3. Submergence Potential
4. Cumulative oil vs cumulative liquid before-after job
5. Plot Monitoring Key (Hall Plot, PVI, FIFO and VRR) and Performance (Production, Injection, Subm, DFL, Pressure vs Time, Decline Curve Analysis)
6. Production & injection splitting and back allocation (faster solution)
The solution was implemented in five fields, with impressive results. It has transformed the speed and efficiency of production and injection data collection while also helping to reduce risk associated with missing data and large-scale control. The faster, more accessible waterflood surveillance and analysis empowers engineers to be more efficient and spend time more on impactful tasks.
