Abstract

Bekapai is a mature offshore field which recently contributes 30% of Mahakam oil production. Regular production optimization modeling could be performed manually in well basis or flowline network segment that creates more time consuming for decision making. Field integrated model that integrates Bekapai well - flowline network model and production database into a single system is presented in this paper. It is automatically updated in order to conduct repetitive system analysis simulation sequences with easy implementation for regular itoring and analysis. It could increases productivity of the user in order to create better and quick decision making of field production optimization. There are 4 main modules for this integrated model. It starts with the production data that automatically retrieved from main database. Second, well models which constructed by ‘multiphase flow wellbore simulator to perform a repetitive sequential Nodal  analysis™ simulation for each well model in Bekapai. Third, flowline network model that generated by multiphase steady-state flow pipeline simulator that features actual network configuration and geodetic pipeline survey. The last part is a  preadsheet-based user interface as a dashboard and centralized commander for analysis, diagnosis and monitoring. It is  connected with welland flowline network integrated model. Model matching was performed in order to validate the model with actual condition. Simulation example case creates average error result 3%. Based on this result, any predictions related to production optimization (production routing, gas lift allocation, shuf- down management, production allocations, debottlenecking, etc.) could be performed efficiently with less time consuming.
