Abstract

Klamono is mature oil field operated by Pertamina EP Asset 4 Papua Field since 1948, with current production 601 BOPD - 99% water cut has reached 44,9% from oil in place, cumulative production 42.85 MMSTB. There are challenges to increase production, several jobs has been done such as water injection at kais formation (as production zone) to increase reservoir pressure, and plug back cement as water shut off which can recover 49.7 MSTB oil production. Due to minimum log wells data, we utilize and analyze of well's production data and completion correlation wells to get a chance in increasing oil recovery. Most of Klamono wells are openhole completion as producer and/or injector well, completion wells are correlated and combined to bubble map. Bubble map was generated shown there are some irregular contribution of oil and water rate, oil and water cumulative production, water oil ratio wells. Only 30% wells has optimum recovery from 205 total well, these wells was produced at top kais formation, and the others produced was not reach to top kais zone due to cased by casing. Four well was choose as pilot well KLO-119, KLO-109, KLO-090, and KLO-128 by closing openhole zone and perforate Top Kais zone, we got initial rate production 40 bopd-80% wc. 98 bopd-1%wc,20 bopd-85% wc and 24 bopd-85%wc. The success of the top kais recompletion permitted the initiation of a change completion method in Klamono field. From operation seismic 3 D Klamasosa 2016-2018, there are oil seepage at seismic borehole's (20-30 m) Klamono Field. This is as opportunity have to further investigated as shallow zone upside potential. KLO-020 as a pilot project well executed to prove shallow zone upside potential. given 30-40 bopd 32%we with static pressure 42 psig.
